In response to a rocket attack by Houthi rebels, Israel attacked the airport in the Yemeni capital, Sana'a. The last remaining Yemenia Airways passenger plane in the country was destroyed. On Tuesday, the Yemeni Houthis fired two rockets at Israel. Israeli warplanes attacked Sana'a International Airport.
They have now destroyed the Yemenia Airways Airbus A320 there. This was the airline's last plane. Yemenia Airways described the Israeli attack as a "cowardly act of terrorism." The airline has suspended flights to and from Sana'a Airport for the time being. The Israeli Air Force had already bombed the airport three weeks ago. The Houthis, for their part, regularly attack Israel to express their solidarity with Hamas.
