In talks on Iran's nuclear program, US special envoy Steve Witkoff has presented a proposed agreement to Tehran's leaders, according to media reports. It is "a detailed and acceptable proposal," the US news site "Axios" and other media reported, citing US President Donald Trump's spokeswoman, Karoline Leavitt. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said his counterpart in Oman had presented him with "elements of an agreement with the United States.

Previously, the Vienna-based International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) had stated in a report that the amount of near-weapons-grade uranium produced in Iran had increased by almost 50 percent in a short time.
